Lavalier condenser microphone
A reliable lavalier microphone with broadcast-quality sound, perfectly matched to the Wireless GO, Wireless GO II and Wireless ME compact wireless systems. An ideal accessory for situations where the Wireless GO II (SINGLE) transmitter module would be too prominent in the shot. In this case, connect the ‘Lavalier GO’ to the microphone input of the Wireless GO module and use it purely as a belt-pack transmitter.
The Lavalier GO can also be used with any other device that has a 3.5 mm TRS microphone input and provides the necessary power supply (approx. 3 volts). Typical examples include laptops with a separate microphone input, DSLR cameras and portable recorders. With the optional SC4 adapter, the Lavalier GO can also be used with smartphones featuring a 3.5 mm headphone jack (TRRS).
To achieve optimal recording results, the Lavalier GO should be attached to the lapel or at chest height using its crocodile clip. For outdoor recordings, the use of a fur windscreen is generally recommended. RØDE offers a suitable accessory in the form of a three-pack called the MiniFur-LAV.
The connection cable is Kevlar®-reinforced and, at 1.20 m, is sufficiently long. The Lavalier GO is manufactured by RØDE in Australia and comes with a foam windscreen, a clip and a small carrying pouch.
